Insane leeks and beef combo
Ingredients
- Organic leeks - 4
- Organic russet potato - 1
- Organic onion - 1
- Organic garlic powder - eyeball
- Sea salt - eyeball
- Parmigiano-Reggiano - eyeball
- Grass-fed ground beef - 1lb (we used more but had 1/2lb leftovers we just made into patties).
Steps
1Preheat oven to 375f.
2Cut the root of the leeks. Cut the top (green part) off. Throw away the first layer and wash.
3Cut it lengthwise to the centre (this is going to separate our leeks sheets)- and throw in boiling water for a few min to soften. Do NOT separate into sheets yet.
4Meanwhile, peel and grate potato and onion.
5Take the top part of the leeks (the green part)- remove its top top lol (see in the video)- wash the leeks and finely dice it. Note I used just two leeks here, not all four.
6Mix all with ground beef. Add garlic powder and salt.
7Lay open one leek sheet, fill with our filling and roll.
8In the oven for 30min to fully cook, and finish off with 3-5 of broiler to caramelize.
9Add Parmigiano on top and enjoy!
